Biography

Born in Konya in the spring of 1986. She finished primary, secondary and high school in Konya. After graduating from the foreign language stream of a Super High School, she enrolled in 2007 in the Tourist Guiding programme of the Silifke–Taşucu Vocational School of Selçuk University. Because of the work she loved so much, she had travelled the length and breadth of Türkiye by the age of 21.

In 2010 she began her second degree. She completed a bachelor’s degree in the History department of Selçuk University and a master’s degree in Modern History. Her doctoral studies in Early Modern History are ongoing. She took the Silk Road Gastronomy Specialist Guide training and began researching the gastronomy of Konya.

Alongside her travels within Türkiye she has also travelled abroad, giving her the chance to observe the tourism opportunities of other countries and cities.

She is interested in amateur photography, archery and diving (one-star diver). She has taken training in diction, broadcasting, presenting, voice-over and drama, and is a diction instructor.

Although her guiding language is English, she studied Arabic for two years from 2009 and later took beginner-level Persian. With 17 years of experience she continues, with great pleasure, to tell of many parts of the country — above all to visitors to Konya.
