Notes on the programme
Venues where a group can have breakfast in Konya are generally in the village of Sille. Starting the programme there (furthest out) and working towards the city centre is our usual arrangement, though it may change according to the agency’s programme or your arrival time in Konya.
Museums across Konya open at 09:00, so there is little scope to begin the programme above any earlier.
This programme can be run in the summer months (May to September) when museums switch to their summer timetable. It cannot be completed on the winter timetable.
The stretch between the Alaaddin Mosque, the Şems-i Tebrizi Tomb and the Mevlana Museum is covered on foot. There is nowhere for tour coaches to wait along this route, the sites are quite close together (about 500 m apart) and coaches must park some distance away — so walking this section is both more practical and a better use of time.
Within this programme only the “Tropical Butterfly Garden” charges admission. For the fee schedule please see our Museum Fees page.
