Ali Özlü

Biography

I was born in 1980 in the Derbent district of Konya. I completed primary, secondary and high school in Derbent as well.

Taking my interest and expertise in tourism to an academic level, I successfully completed the master’s programme in Ecotourism Guiding at Necmettin Erbakan University (2023).

I passed the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s professional entry examination and received the title of “Professional Tourist Guide” (2025). Since that day I have been proud to contribute to the promotion and development of Central Anatolia and of Konya tourism, my area of expertise.

I also accompany travellers on international culture and history tours to different parts of Europe, above all Spain, Portugal and Italy, carrying out careful route planning and group management with the experience I have gained.

For me tourism is not only discovering new places; it is building bridges between cultures and, by following the traces of history, leaving unforgettable memories in people’s lives. With the accumulation the years have brought, I keep the excitement of the first day on every new route and continue, with a deep commitment to this profession, to be a travelling companion to those on the road.
