
Salih Zeki Keş
Biography
Born in Kadınhanı, Konya in 1969. He completed his primary and secondary education in Kadınhanı.
In 1993 he graduated from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature of the Faculty of Science and Letters at Selçuk University.
Between 1994 and 2003 he worked as an Arabic-Turkish instructor at the Konya branch of the TÖMER Language Teaching Centre of Ankara University.
He prepared and presented “Radyo Dershanesi”, a programme of Arabic lessons by radio that began in 2005, ran for three years and was the first of its kind in Türkiye.
In 2007 he founded the website www.arapcaegitimi.com and still serves as its editor.
In 2008 he received his Professional Tourist Guide badge from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Arabic and Turkish.
He has worked as a professional tourist guide since 2008.
In 2010 he completed a master’s programme in Arabic Language and Rhetoric.
In the 2011–2012 academic year he was appointed as an Arabic lecturer at the Faculty of Theology of Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya.
He retired from that institution in 2023. He produces content on teaching Arabic on social media.
He is married with three children.
