Okan Tosun

Biography

Born in Anamur, Mersin in 1986. He attended primary, secondary and high school in the Bozyazı district.

He completed the tourist guiding programme at the Yalvaç Vocational School of Süleyman Demirel University in Isparta.

Graduating in 2008, he spent three years working as a guide, transfer representative, counter officer and agency and office employee in tourist destinations such as Bodrum, Antalya and Manavgat.

In 2010 he was admitted to the English Language Teaching department of Selçuk University. He completed his master’s degree in Primary Education.

Graduating in English Language Teaching in 2014, he began guiding at the same time.

He has completed his 15th year in the profession as a national tourist guide.

Still working as both teacher and guide, he has two children and lives in Konya.
