Mehmet Akif Yıldırım

Biography

Born in Konya in 1981. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Konya and his university education in 2007 in the History Teaching department of the Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Turkish-Kazakh University in Kazakhstan.

During his university years he had the opportunity to see and come to know Turkestan and the Central Asian Turkic republics and their cultures at first hand.

After university he qualified to attend the guiding course opened by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and received his badge in 2008.

He began his career with foreign tourists in the Antalya market and lived in Alanya until moving to Konya. After coming to Konya he worked in sales, marketing and logistics in the foreign trade and export sector, gaining varied experience through business trips to Russian-speaking countries.

He currently continues his career as a professional tour guide in many corners of our country. He lives in Konya and is married with two children.
